More Updates
21st Jun 2007
A couple of updates.
- Added Movie Plots - IMDB (110,952 Records) to the vault.
- Added a section called “lab”. This is where additional scripts that run on our servers can be accessed.
- Added a keyword competition checker to lab
The first tool in this section is a competition checker. It looks at your competitions back links listed in yahoo, their Alexa rating, their keywords and their Google SERPS ranking. This also gives you sub keywords of that keyword.
- When you submit new sites it will now create even more backlinks. (You can resubmit previously submitted sites to get the new backlinks)
Things to watch for
- We are still working on templating vbulletin and tying the user accounts into our squirt user accounts. We expect to have the forum up within the next week.
- Working on revamping trackback solution to a non multi threaded version and including an installer to set/check permissions.

Great Job.
My sites finally started to show results from the submissions, looks like SQUIRT is that great tool after all.

Appreciate the efforts Rob. Got your emails as well, but haven’t had time to reply. I’m simply re-submitting sites that had no results and not paying as much attention to the site analysis as the measurable results like traffic, CTR and index depth.
Cheers.
Sean
Thanks for the update. Looks good.

I’m startung to see results too. I ran the tool on a a bunch of old scraper sites and a shitty blog farm. The scrapers are coming back now. Still waiting for the blog farm but I imagine that’s a bit of a different process.

It’s been barely a week. We got a whole team of programmers and content brokers working day and night. Please give us a little time.
Chris
Glad you got the keyword competition checker working dude. [that sounds so much better than keyword research] lol
jay

Tool looks great guys, one glitch I want to point out and perhaps it is just me, but the results don’t show up anymore (the thumbs up thumbs down) when I go to “analyze site”. All it gives me is blank space with “Lookup Another?” and the box after I submit the form.
Rob
Blain,
Can you email me the URL / Keywords that you used to get a blank after analyze…
I tried the ones in your history and I wasn’t able to re-create the problem..
Please let me know.

Hi,
pls offer a hosted solution of trackback solution on your servers, just like the squirt tool! This would really be awesome.
Thanks,
Mike

to add my experience… the results don’t alway show up,just submitted 10 and 1 result showed up.I assume tool is working anyway right?.question in regard to new feature not mentioned on robs page;the adult? tab added.Which applies..1)seo stuff weren’t working well for adult so we added different strategy activated by tab? so better run all through again2),tab adds marginal improvement?.3)adult submission go into waste basket?
Chris
Yeah, I can confirm that sometimes it does the verbose stuff with the thumbs up and thumbs down. And other times it doesn’t. I’ll take more notice next time and list which to which for you.
I’ve also noticed that not all sites I submit show up in the user panel. Again, if I see this happen again, I’ll note down which.
Mike
Hi,
are the backlinks we get from squirt permanent or will they get removed after a certain period of time?
Also, can you provide a hosted trackback solution in the labs section?
Cheers
Mike
rob
mike, most are permanant some are not. Some are just long lasting.
Mike
Thanks Rob!
Say, do the databases come with resale rights?
