RudeDoggs Link Scavanger program is now available for download in the vault for free.
Here’s some information on what it does.
Major Network Upgrade

SQUIRT got a major network update that happened early this morning. This will accommodate more backlink volume. More network updates will roll in throughout this week.

-* Fixed bug in sorting previous logged submissions. It is now sorting as intended, also the number of past entries shown has been changed from 50 to 100.
-* In the vault we added 430 wordpress themes.

When you log into squirt, it will ask you to make a username.. This username will be used in the vbb forum we have setup..
There is more information about this once you log in.

More Support for Adult Sites

For those of you that are submitting adult sites.
We’ve added a “Is Adult” yes/no option when promoting sites.
This doesn’t effect analysis but it does effect the promotion methods.
This will help receive even more effect from squirt with adult sites.

A couple of updates.
- Added Movie Plots - IMDB (110,952 Records) to the vault.
- Added a section called “lab”. This is where additional scripts that run on our servers can be accessed.
- Added a keyword competition checker to lab
The first tool in this section is a competition checker. It looks at your competitions back links listed in yahoo, their Alexa rating, their keywords and their Google SERPS ranking. This also gives you sub keywords of that keyword.
- When you submit new sites it will now create even more backlinks. (You can resubmit previously submitted sites to get the new backlinks)
Things to watch for
- We are still working on templating vbulletin and tying the user accounts into our squirt user accounts. We expect to have the forum up within the next week.
- Working on revamping trackback solution to a non multi threaded version and including an installer to set/check permissions.

First round of mini updates done guys.. We’re working on the forum, we are tieing that into the existing login/pass database. Should have that up within the week.
Here’s the list of some of the changes that have already been made.
- Fixed bug in XML parsing some feeds that would cause a
“Can’t call method “getDocumentElement” on an undefined value at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/XML/RSS/LibXML/Parser.pm line 73.”
- Now support many more Country Code TLDS (Including .co.uk, .ch )
- On the registration pages the field types are now passwords types.
- Fixed Java script on the Add Submission page
- Fixed the bug with ‘ in the keywords fields.
- Gave some of the analysis text printouts

Upcoming Changes

Hey guys just wanted to let you all know about some upcoming changes we’ve discussed in the tools.
- We will be making a private forum for the SQUIRT toolset to handle questions and feedback, and general concept type stuff.
- The analysis tool will print out the text of whats it checking for and what the results are.
- I will make a installer script for the trackback solution script.. This will check your permissions and help you set it up.
These are all ideas that were submitted by the request section of the tool I do read all of these and once the mass of emails slow down I will personally respond to them to bounce ideas of the people that took time to write the suggestions. Thanks to all of you for that, and the community would also like to thank you.. They are good ideas and we’ll move on them..
I’d expect to see these changes by the end of next weekend. Would say by 6/23/07.
